19 HP Top-Discharge, Road-Towable DR® CHIPPER

You asked for more power and we listened. This brute of a machine is an unbelievable performer. The 19 HP engine from Kawasaki doesn’t bog down, even when chipping tough, knot-riddled branches that are 4-1/2" thick. And the top-discharge feature lets you put chips right where you want them — into a cart, a pickup truck bed or spread out in a woodlot. The result is you can spend all of your time getting rid of ugly brush piles, and little or no time collecting or dispersing the chips you create. 2” ball coupler with safety chains, brake lights, and directional signals included. Turbo-Ject™ technology! Only DR® CHIPPERS feature Turbo-Ject™ technology! A common problem with ordinary chippers is clogging. To reduce clogging we use specially selected high-torque engines and our own advanced impeller design. The result is high-speed chipping that’s perfectly matched to the ejection rate of the machine. And that’s why our DR® CHIPPER can take 40 “bites” per second without slowing down!		Commercial-grade centrifugal clutch! With a centrifugal clutch, there’s no load on the engine when starting. Instead, the engine starts easily and then automatically engages the machine’s heavy chipper flywheel at 1,800 rpm. “Bargain” chippers use manual clutches, that you have to engage when you’re ready to begin chipping. They wear easily and stall the engine if not engaged at the proper speed.
