Do you provide order status when I purchase
merchandise?
Click on the "View
Order Status" found directly below the "HOME" button of every
page. We'll update your order throughout the process so you
can track from purchase to shipping, and then you can view the
tracking information once your merchandise is in the hands of UPS
or any of our other shippers. Additionally, when your order
changes status you will receive an email notification from our
website, so please be sure to watch for our emails and add us to
your "safe" list.
SHIPPING
What does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are the responsibility of our
customers, but we work hard to keep those costs low. Our
modest shipping rates are calculated at checkout time so you will
always see what the shipping cost is before you pay for your
order. To view shipping rates, first select your merchandise
using the "BUY" button for the items you wish to purchase, and
then select "Checkout"
on any of the product pages or on the "Checkout"
link found on every page of our website. Once you fill out
the required information, your order including shipping will be
displayed for final approval. Because we are not in the
business of earning our living on shipping fees (we leave that to
the shipping companies), we strive to keep our shipping prices set
to cover the majority of orders but not high enough to cover all.
Consequently, actual rates are sometimes higher, and if a shipping
cost adjustment is required we will notify you prior to shipping
your merchandise so you will always have the choice of whether to
pay for the shipping or cancel your order.
How do you ship?
We ship with UPS, and with a variety of
other large freight companies depending on order size, point of
origin and final destination.
How long does shipping take?
Our goal is to ship merchandise within
several days upon receipt of payment. Because some of our
merchandise is large, additional time may be required to coordinate
shipping. Some of our products are imported directly from the
factory in order to provide our customers with exceptional cost
savings, in which case specific product descriptions provide general
timeframe expectations based on previous experience with these
products. The overall majority of our customers' orders ship
within one to two business days from receipt of order and are
delivered within one week of receipt of order. Even with
imports, shipping time can be expedited as necessary to meet
customer needs.
How do I find out shipping time of a specific
product?
A good rule of thumb is to assume unless a
product description specifically states otherwise your merchandise
will ship within three business days and arrive within a week upon
receipt of payment for small items (i.e. trimmers, brush cutters,
seeds, fertilizer, bird feeders) and within 10 business days for
large items (i.e. wood chipper shredders, leaf vacuum blowers,
tillers).
How can I find the status of my order?
You can check back on our web site at any time
to see a current status of your order. Once your order ships,
you will be able to find the tracking information by visiting "View
Order Status" (right beneath the header buttons of ever page on
our website). Simply click on "View
Order Status", enter your order number and email address.
We will also try to keep you updated via email throughout the order
process as the status changes.
PAYMENT
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards, PayPal, eChecks,
money orders, bank checks, fund transfers. We will not
authorize any order for shipment until payment is verified (credit
cards and PayPal verify immediately during checkout). If you
wish to pay with personal check or money order, please be prepared
to wait for a settle time while our bank verifies availability of
funds. If you need to place an order with a method not readily
available on our web site, please contact our customer service for
assistance.
Are my transactions safe at your store?
Our shopping cart is secure so you can shop with confidence.
You can verify this during the checkout process by looking for the

as well as the "lock" image by your URL address or bottom-right of
the browser window. Depending on what browser you use, it will

RETURNS
Do you accept returns?
Nearly all of our products are backed by
Manufacturer's Warranty which covers manufacturing defects.
Specific warranty terms can be found in the detailed product
descriptions. Because we strive to keep costs low for all of our
customers we generally do not accept returns for products other than
warranty related issues. Once a customer pays us and we ship his
or her merchandise, the merchandise is the personal property of that
individual. For customer related issues (i.e. change of mind),
unused merchandise still in the original box may be returned only with
prior written approval from our Customer Service department, and in
these cases the customer will be responsible for shipping and a
restocking fee.
PRIVACY
What is your Privacy Policy?
MyGreatHomeandYard.com does not
sell or share personal information. When you purchase a product
from us or enroll in our free newsletter, your information is used
only for fulfilling your order or occasionally providing information
directly to you about our products or other specific topics you enroll
for in our newsletter.
